To Her…

Have you guys watched The Princess and The Frog?

Never mind about the story of the show, the spanish ascent of Prince Naveen, nor the skin color of the Princess Tiana (fact is that this princess is the first black princess in a Disney movie).

Not to say I didn’t enjoy the movie, but what caught my attention is the ending song of it, which in my opinion, is a real lovely song.

Hence, I would like to dedicate it to none other than my dearest darling. Indeed, you’re the best thing I never knew I needed 🙂

For the way you changed my plans
For being the perfect distraction
For the way you took the idea that i had
of everything that i wanted to have
and made me see there was something missing

For the ending of my first begin
For the rare and unexpected friend
For the way you’re something that I’d never choose
but at the same time something i don’t wanna lose
and never wanna be without ever again…

You’re the best thing I never knew I needed
when you appear i had no idea…
You’re the best thing i never knew i needed
so now it’s so clear i need you here, always…

My accidental happily (ever after)
The way you smile and how you comfort me (with your laughter)
I must admit you were not a part of my book
but now if you open it up and take a look
you’re the beginning and the end of every chapter…

You’re the best thing i never knew i needed
when you appear i had no idea…
You’re the best thing i never knew i needed
so now it’s so clear i need you here, always…

Even as I’m leaving for a far away land (not the one where Alice is), my heart is still very much beside you, keeping you company.

I’ll miss you every second I’m there, just as much as when I’m anywhere.

Promise me to take good care of yourself, and be a good girl when I’m off k?

Hearts…
